Compliance, Terms & Policies

Everything covering how Family Law Bundle Services works, how we handle your data, and the court rules our bundles are built around. Last updated 31 August 2026.

Court Rules We Build Around

Our bundles are designed to help you meet the formatting expectations of the Family Court in England and Wales, in particular:

  • Practice Direction 27A (PD27A) — the rules on the preparation, format, indexing and pagination of court bundles.
  • The Family Procedure Rules 2010 (FPR) — the procedural framework for family proceedings.

We aim to keep our section structure (A–F), index format and continuous pagination consistent with these rules. However, rules and local practice can change, and individual courts or judges may give specific directions. It is your responsibility to confirm the current requirements for your hearing.

What the Service Does (and Doesn’t) Do

The service helps you upload documents, sort them into court-standard sections, generate an index, apply continuous pagination, run basic compliance checks and export a single merged PDF.

The service does not read your case, give an opinion on its merits, decide what should or should not be included, or guarantee that a bundle will be accepted by any particular court. Those decisions remain yours.

Data Protection & GDPR

We take the privacy of your documents seriously. The documents you upload may contain highly sensitive personal information, including information about children. We process this data in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Our lawful basis for processing your data is the performance of our contract with you (providing the bundle-preparation service) and your consent where required.

We act as a data processor for the documents and case information you upload, and as a data controller for your account and billing information.

You have rights over your personal data, including the right to access, correct, delete and export it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details on our Contact page.

Data Security & Retention

Your documents and case data are stored securely and access is restricted to your account.

  • Data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.
  • Your cases and documents are only visible to you when logged in.
  • You can delete your documents and cases at any time from within the app.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data, except where we are required to retain certain records by law.

Confidentiality & Children Proceedings

Family proceedings, particularly those involving children, are confidential and subject to strict reporting restrictions. Documents from these proceedings must not be shared or published except as permitted by law or the court.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of this service, and any bundle you produce, complies with any confidentiality obligations and reporting restrictions that apply to your case.

Subscription, Billing & Cancellation

Access to Family Law Bundle Services is provided on a subscription basis at £17.18 per month, including unlimited bundles, billed via Stripe.

  • Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we do not store your full card details.
  • Your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled.
  • You can cancel at any time, and your access will continue until the end of the current billing period.
  • We do not offer pro-rata refunds for partial months unless required by law.

If you have a billing question or problem, please contact us and we will do our best to help.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the service lawfully and only for preparing genuine court bundles relating to your own matters or matters you are properly assisting with.

  • Do not upload content you have no right to use.
  • Do not use the service to harass, defame or harm others.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

Limitation of Liability

The service is provided on an “as is” basis. While we work hard to make it accurate and reliable, we do not warrant that it will be error-free or that any bundle it produces will be accepted by a court.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the service, including any consequences of a bundle being rejected, late or non-compliant. You are responsible for checking your bundle before filing.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms and policies from time to time to reflect changes in the law, court rules or how the service works. The current version will always be available on this page, with the “last updated” date shown at the top.

Continued use of the service after changes are published means you accept the updated terms.

Contact & Complaints

If you have any questions about these terms, our handling of your data, or you wish to make a complaint, please get in touch via our Contact page. We aim to respond to all enquiries promptly.

Family Law Bundle Services

Family Law Bundle Services helps you assemble court-compliant bundles for the Family Court in England & Wales. It is a document-preparation tool and does not provide legal advice. A judge's directions always override any setting in this tool. Always check your final bundle against the court's directions before filing.
